Electronics and Electro-technics

h’elcom offers the widest range of modularity both in terms of profile sections and accessories.

Aware of the constraints faced by the high-tech industries, h’elcom offers complete solutions to meet protection requirements against the risk of electrostatic discharge.

Our standard fasteners have been developed to perforate the anodized layer of our profiles, thus ensuring electrical continuity between them and guaranteeing an ESD solution. In this way, we can create all your ergonomic workstations for the assembly of electronic components, as well as your inspection and test stations. Numerous solutions complete this ESD range, such as worktops, ergonomic seats, distribution trays, floor mats, etc…

h’elcom also gives you the freedom to design your own machine frames, ESD Polycarbonate housings, and dynamic supplies to feed the line edges.

As you can see, the h’elcom range is currently the most innovative and modular for your industrial ESD applications…

Equipments dedicated in the electronics sector

The equipment used in the electronics sector is highly diversified. The most popular are modular profiles, a variety of accessories, standard fasteners to ensure electrical continuity (ESD), ergonomic workstations for the assembly of electronic components, inspection and test stations, work trays, ergonomic seats, distribution bins. The range also includes floor mats, machine frames, ESD polycarbonate enclosures and dynamic line-side power supplies. This equipment offers complete solutions for protection against the risks of electrostatic discharge.

Case study in electronics

Project

A major client in the electronics industry wanted an automated assembly line for the manufacture of connected electricity meters. The objective of this line was to begin production of the meters at the beginning of January 2016 in order to produce nearly 2 million meters per year on the French and European market.

Solution

To meet this demand, we designed an automated assembly line made with a TR Transfer so that the electricity meters can be assembled and installed as quickly as possible. In addition, the line is also made with elevators so that the accumulation and transfer of electric meters can be as homogeneous as possible without any problem once the meter manufacturing begins.

Standards in the electronics sector

IPC standards define specific design and manufacturing requirements for all aspects of a PCB printed circuit board.

They regulate the manufacture of vias and microvias, create references for solder joint strength, solder mask material and thickness, material properties for substrates, and many other production requirements.

IPC 2152, IPC 4761 and IPC 6012E are important design standards for mechanical strength and thermal stability.

The IPC-A-600 series also includes many important standards for the manufacture of printed circuit boards and electronic assemblies.

IPC-A-610, whose official title is “Acceptability of electronic assemblies”, enables the detection and correction of defects in the manufacture of class 1, 2 and 3 electronic boards.

These standards have important consequences for PCB manufacturers, and can affect various parameters specific to the manufacturing process.

ISO 14644-1

The ISO 14644-1 standard is an international standard which specifies requirements relating to clean rooms and controlled environments in terms of particle contamination. It helps businesses ensure a clean, controlled environment, which is essential in many industries where particulate contamination can lead to issues with product quality, process safety and regulatory compliance.

These standards have important consequences for PCB manufacturers and can affect various parameters specific to the manufacturing process.
